"Fantabulous" When ever you get to know about a new place claiming to serve "good italian" food.. you have your reservations.. We went to this place with least expectations but we were really pleased to be at this place..
Ambiance (10/10) - the white does the magic and the rustic look nothing overboard.. all blends well. Staff (10/10) - polite and respectful plus more important had knowledge about the food served in the restaurant. Food (10/10) - i not a avid veg eater but loved the veg stuff we ordered.. the veg lasagna was too good so was the wood fire pizza plus the garlic bread.. even my 4 year old loved it. Price (10/10) - meal for 3 with 2 starters and 1 veg lasagna & pizza it was Rs 1446.. including taxes .. you kidding me.... reasonable from the other ones we have been to.
Definitely going back...

"wonderful evening" me n my fiance visited virgin courtyard on our first date . we order veggie lasagne with soft drinks. Hospitality n food was good . It was our first experience with Italian cuisine but its awesome . The ambiance has European touch . I love to visit again

"Great time- nice bistro" we went on 10th March'13 at Lunch time. The place came as an exotic surprise!! The menu might not have been convincing but the presentation and the flavor of the food is too good. The place has the sitting inside and outside. the lighting is perfect. i like the soups, the pastas and the dessert- Banana Pizza!! cant forget that Taste

"Mediterranean ambience and excellent Italian food" A great place for romantic evening. And the only place where you can have a candle light dinner in open. Ambience is totally mediterranean. And food is great too.

"Great outdoor ambience & 5 star food" You feel like a world away when you dine here - Its a great for choice a outdoor lunch or a relaxing dinner. I have been several times now and have always been impressed with the food (though a vegetarian friend of mine was disappointed with the last of flavor to her dish).
Looking forward to the incorporation of wine of the menu as it would be perfect with the Italian/Spanish inspired dishes.

"Amazing Italian" a newly opened restaurant with a great ambience. They have sitting both indoors and out in open. Great service! The food speaks for itself. Love the chicken pizza, lamb pasta and asparagus risotto. They don't have a liquor license yet, but they do serve mocktails and other things to drink. Overall a nice place if you are up for a fine dining experience.

Great ambience (though it's a little too dark outdoors in late evening and you can't read the menu). Has a great feel and a very relaxed atmosphere. Apart from such great ambience was the fact that I was sold on was that the kids could play around freely!
So the food takes a bit too long to be served (which was a disappointment) but they do keep you happy with a great bread basket and olive oil and balsamic vinegar to go with it. absolutely the best start to a great Italian meal!
Bruschetta that they served was so authentic and yummy! Thoroughly enjoyed by ALL of us!
The pizza and the chicken mains ordered by us were also great.

Amazing Ambience.. Refreshing and Reminds you of Greece, especially Santorini. Although it looks greek, they serve just Italian.
Went here twice and it was a delight.
We ordered four entrees and the bill was a meagre 2000 with soft drinks and lime soda.
The portions are very reasonable.
Ambience: 10/10 Food: 8/10 Service: 8/10 Value for Money: 9/10

On my last visit to Chandigarh, I explored this new place. While looking for the restaurant, I was not sure if the person on the phone is guiding me to the right place because this is not the place one would usually open a restaurant, away from the masses. Stepping inside I could not believe my eyes that Chandigarh could actually have a place like this.
I chose to sit in the courtyard, rather inside. Wise decision as the weather outside was just perfect. My opinion about them:
Ambiance (9/10): Brilliantly done interiors. The candles, the small fountain outside in the centre, a tree inside the courtyard, the flooring they all just complemented each other so well.
Service(8/10): Courteous staff. The food takes some time to reach your tables but in the meanwhile they give the breadbasket. The staff should be a little loud because I had to ask them more than once to know what they were saying. But there is nothing like people serving you with smiling faces.
Food (8.5/10): Well the most important aspect of any restaurant still remains the food and Virgin Courtyard has almost nailed it to perfection. Good job guys. Keep it up.
